Dash was intended to minimize and modernize those giant teacher edition text books that plagued so many of our educators. Originally designed as a native iOS application for the iPad, Dash was the first of it's kind. It has since matured into a web app and is used in conjunction with several of Pearson's digital courses. Replacing thousands of bulky text books and freeing educator desk space everywhere.
View in App StoreWorking in a group with 2 other UX designers and 3 instructional designers, we each focused on specific parts of the interface. I mostly contributed very early on in Dash conceptual phase centered around content integration and navigation through the viewing experience. I produced multiple wireframes that experimented with navigation and layout. Further along in the project I contributed visual design for icons represented in various parts of a lesson plan.
